ANALYSIS AND SYMPTOMS
We will analyse your genetics through a buccal cheek swab. And we analyse your lifestyle and environment factors and influences through a series of questionnaires
myDNAhealth is the brainchild of CEO and Co-Founder, Berenice Williams, combining her triple passions – nutrition, real science and technology. Founded in 2015, we have developed into a trusted and respected brand, known nationally and internationally.
The concept of myDNAhealth is to make cutting edge genetic research about the relationship between DNA, health and nutrition accessible to everyone. Our AI algorithm uses over 2,500 genetic and lifestyle markers to examine 27 areas of your health and wellbeing, allowing us to generate a complex and wide-ranging analysis and report that is specific to you.
We are UK based and have strong links with Life Science experts at the University of East Anglia and the Quadram Institute of Biosciences and technology experts at the Norwich University of Arts. Our own science team comprises doctors, genetic experts and nutritionists. We’re proud to say that every recommendation we make is backed up by real science based on extensive global research.
Our reports were named “Best New Product” by IHCAN in 2015 and received the “Most Innovative” Award from e-Nutrition in 2016. In 2020 we were awarded the Broadland and South Norfolk Business Award for Excellence in Life Sciences.
I’m proud to have been the co-founder of myDNAhealth. I’ve always had a passion for technology, nutrition and believe that many preventable conditions like Type 2 Diabetes and obesity can be tackled by understanding the relationship between our genes and the food we eat.
Originally from South Africa, I’ve been in the UK since I was 25. My career background is in global marketing, product development and technology, which has given me the critical skills needed to deliver the myDNAhealth message. I’m married to myDNAhealth co-founder Malcolm Williams.
I’m the co-founder of myDNAhealth, bringing an extensive background in applied technology to the business. My role is to ensure that our AI algorithm and data processing systems have reliability, security and integrity enabling the production of DNA reports that are specific to the individual’s genetic and lifestyle analysis data.
Born in South Africa, I came to the UK in 1993, working with global brands such as Reuters and the Capital International Group. I’m passionate about the opportunities that cutting edge technology can bring to the world of health and wellbeing. I’m married to myDNAhealth co-founder Berenice Williams.
I have a PhD in medicine from the University of Wales College of Medicine, focusing on human genetics. I spent several years as an academic research fellow publishing work in cardiovascular and cancer genetics. My passion for wellness and nutrition led me to train in nutrition with a functional approach.
I am currently a registered, practising Nutritional Therapist, and I also lecture at two naturopathic colleges in the UK. I was delighted to join myDNAhealth as their Chief Scientific Officer over four years ago. Since then, I focused on leading an evidence-informed approach resulting in quality, actionable nutritional genomics reports.

I’m a graduate of Nottingham University, a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and the British College of Aesthetics Medicine. I was delighted to become involved with myDNAhealth in 2020, becoming its Medical Director. I firmly believe that true wellbeing can only be achieved by adopting a holistic and functional/integrative approach.
I have passion for nutrigenomics and precision DNA study: the relationship between genes and nutrition is proven and a successful balance of that relationship delivers huge advantages. I run the flagship Regent Street Clinics in the UK as well as a HyperHealth, a MedTech company in Dubai.
The myDNAhealth approach consists of two aspects that deliver a complete overview. The Comprehensive DNA test will analyse a range of genetic variants, while the lifestyle assessment is a series of questionnaires that allow us to better understand how your environment and habits may have an impact on gene expression. Through analysing these two areas alongside each other, we’ll be able to highlight potential risk factors, so you can take the necessary steps to minimise them.
It’s a simple way to assess your wellbeing and make positive changes.

Firstly, myDNAhealth was recognised in a recent Mintel report that includes an epigenetic component in its testing. This factor is a major cause of genetic variation and delivers even more useful information to end users.
We’re also committed to using the latest technology and analytical tools to ensure that the information we deliver to you is relevant and reliable. Backed by scientific and clinical evidence, our DNA tests can be relied on. Scientific study and genetic research is continuously progressing, it’s an aspect that we take very seriously. Our tests are supported by ongoing research and are regularly assessed to incorporate the latest information available, ensuring you receive a superior service every time.
